Lirhanzo Children's Village: Chikombedzi

Our hunting area in Zimbabwe is called the Malipati Communal Area bordering the Gona re Zhou national park. There are 84 villages in the area apprising of about 100 families in each village.

A very special place in the area which is dear to us is the Lirhanzo Childrens Village.  Lirhanzo is love in Shangaan the local language spoken in this area.  LCV was founded in 1998 by Ezelle Schimper and registered in 2009, although the idea started many years before that.  The home currently houses 30 children from newborn babies to teenagers.

They have a Mission school on the property as well, with over 310 children enrolled this year.

LCV is a non-government institution which relies mainly on donations to house, feed and educate the children. Please see this old YouTube video to give you a better understanding of Ezelle’s work.

Any donations are welcome and very much appreciated.  Pre-loved or new clothes, non-perishable foodstuff, stationery and learning materials are always welcome.  Monetary donations can paid to us and we will transfer it directly to Lirhanzo’s RSA bank account.

There are also many primary and high schools in the area which can benefit from donations like clothes, perishable foodstuffs,  stationery and learning materials.  This is one of the poorest economic areas in Zimbabwe.
We thank our very generous clients and friends for their open-handed support of the children in the area and we are grateful for every donation big and small.

Please help us support Ezelle in the amazing work she is doing with the orphans and children in Malipati Communal Area.

Contact Liandra if you want more information and would like to help the children.
