masters and this is nowhere more
apparent than at the Mashamba
Pottery Project. A wide range of
products, including traditional pots,
plates, bowls, jugs and jars are
hand-made by the team of skilled
crafters.

Paper Dreams
The Khomanani Paper Art Project at
Shirley Village is another one of
South Africa’s remarkable development
success stories. The project was
established six years ago and
currently provides work for 14 people.
At the project, paper is transformed
into a huge variety of stunning
products including customized stationery,
jewellery and gift boxes, paper plant
pots,and many more.
Of course, everything is
hand-crafted in the traditional way.

16kilometre figure-eight loop trail in

Entabeni is the majestic Hangklip – a
gigantic monolith of eroded stone that
towers above the surrounding plains.
